After all the engines had already been ignited, the contdown of the rocket launch of space shuttle Discovery was aborted exactly 6 seconds before liftoff. The reason was excessive pressure in one of the hydrogen tanks. However, it later transpired that it was simply a faulty sensor that was giving incorrect readings.
